Found by the hundreds, these tricholoma are quite unusual becuause of their Agaric or Amanita style annulus around the stipe.

Despite being bright yellow, these camouflage perfectly against the autumn leaves.

Alas, in spite of the delicious sounding name, these are not edible. That's OK though, as I'm quite happy just admiring them. The bright yellow gills juxtapose beautifully with the deep purple caps.
